SHORT VERSE

Verse 1

Two tired eyes are sleeping, Two willing hands are still; The one who worked so hard for us Is resting at God's Will.

Your life was love and labour, Your love for your family true, You did your best for all of us We will always remember you.

If tears could build a stairway, and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to Heaven and bring you back again.

Verse 1

I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one. I’d like to leave an after glow of smiles when life is done. I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly Down the ways. Of happy times And laughing times And bright and sunny days. I’d like the tears of those who grieve, To dry before the sun. Of happy memories that I Leave when life is done.

Verse 2

We hold you close Within our hearts, And there you shall remain, To walk with us Throughout our lives, Until we meet again. So rest in peace, Dear …… ( NAME), And thanks for All you’ve done. We pray that God Has given you, The crown you’ve truly won.

Verse 3

When I come to the end of the road And the sun has set for me, I want no rites in a gloom-filled room, Why cry for a soul set free.- Miss me a little, but not too long, And not with your head bowed low. You never said "I’m leaving" You never said goodbye You were gone before I knew it, And only God knew why. In Life I loved you dearly, In death I love you still, In my heart you hold a place That no one could ever fill.

One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord Scenes from my life flashed across the sky In each, I noticed footprints in the sand Sometimes there were two sets of footprints; other times there was only one. During the lowest times of my life I could see only one set of footprints So I said, “Lord, you promised me that you would walk with me always. Why, when I have needed you most would you leave me?” The Lord replies, “My precious child,I love you and would never leave you The times when you have seen only one set of footprints It was then that I carried you”.

Verse 6

Don’t think of her as gone away, her journey’s just begun, life holds so many facets this earth is only one. Just think of her as resting from the sorrow and the tears in a place of warmth and comfort, where there are no days and years. Think how she must be wishing that we could know today how nothing but our sadness can really pass away. And think of her as living in the hearts of those she touched, for nothing loved is ever lost, and she was loved so much.

In tears we watched you sinking, We watched you fade away, And though our hearts were breaking, We knew you could not stay. Your weary hours and days of pain Your troubled nights are past, Your ever patient willing soul, Has found sweet rest at last. God saw you getting tired, When a cure was not to be, He closed his arms around you, And whispered “Come to me.” Just a prayer from the family who loved you, Just a memory fond and true; In our hearts you will live forever Because we thought the world of you.

Life is but a stopping place, A pause in what’s to be, A resting place along the road, To sweet eternity. We all have different journeys, Different paths along the way, We all were meant to learn some things, But never meant to stay… Your destination is a place, Far greater than we know, For some the journey’s quicker, For some the journey’s slow. But when the journey finally ends, We’ll claim a great reward, And find an everlasting peace, Together with the Lord.

Orders typically take 2-3 days to process. Once your design has been approved, production and then delivery is usually within 3-4 days. We can accommodate any request to get a physical proof sent to you before completing the production order of cards / bookmarks / thank you cards.

Delivery is free on all orders over €50 to residents of the Republic of Ireland. Delivery prices may vary for orders outside Republic of Ireland.
